What, if anything, should we be doing about climate change?
Should we be protesting in the streets?
Why are we still driving our SUVs?
Come and listen to the debate.
Have your say.

Climate Graphs
The following graphs might be useful.
The first shows temperature variation and carbon dioxide levels over the past 420 thousand years. Clearly these graphs are related.
The second graph shows the maximum IPCC prediction of climate change for the next 100 years. It is clearly way beyond anything we have seen for nearly half a million years.

Skeptics Point of View
For the point of view of those skeptical about the link between greenhouse gases and climate change see the following:

What is causing climate change?
At 18:00 on 28th May university tutor and writer on sustainable development Rosamund Aubrey talked about "What is causing climate change?".
If you have any questions or suggestions about what we should discuss at the event, comment on this post.
Rosamund Aubrey writes on sustainable development. She will discuss the absolute biological imperative that we need to live sustainably on Earth. The Millennium Ecosystem Assessment Report (2005) noted there is established, but incomplete evidence, that changes being made to our ecosystem are increasingly the likelihood of non-linear changes that will have significant consequences for human well being.
This, coupled with our use of ‘natural capital’ (environmental or ecological capital), which is subject to the first and second laws of thermodynamics, means we need to rethink how we live on this planet if we are to have a long term future.
The big questions are – what can we do about it? and Are we prepared to do anything about it?
